Fishing Reports

Water temperatures continue to be favorable for fishing along the oceanfront.

APRIL/MAY

Stripers, Bluefish, Sea Herring and Weakfish along the jetties and oceanfront submerged structures.

JUNE 

Good fishing continued for weakfish, especially along the submerged structures, with fish counts as high as 30-35 weakfish.  The size of the weakfish are in the 13"-16" down form 20"-22" earlier in the season.  

Fishing regulations limit one weakfish per angler. 

Stripers are being taken at the tips of the jetties. 

Flounder continue to be taken along the jetties and oceanfront for those who work the bottom.

Fish are taken on both fly and light tackle. 

Fishing along the back bay sod banks has been slow.
